Your account

Your account is your email address: you sign in with a code sent to it.

Settings → Sign out. Your Tahaa stays on your account. Your messages and calls stay on the phone, for when you sign in again; tick Also delete my messages and calls from this phone to remove them too. If several accounts use the same phone, each only ever sees its own.

Settings → Signed-in devices lists every phone and browser signed in to your account: its name, when it signed in, when it was last active (to the day). Lost a phone, or see one you don’t recognise? Sign out next to it: it stops getting your calls and messages at once, and your Tahaa no longer encrypts calls for it. Sign out all the others keeps only the device in your hand.

Settings → Delete account. You receive a confirmation code by email; type it in and everything is deleted: your messages, your calls, their pictures. Your phone’s contacts aren’t touched: they never left your phone. Your Tahaa is released and can be added to another account. A confirmation email follows.

Without the app, or if you can’t sign in any more: open app.tahaa.app/delete-account, enter your email, then open the link sent to it and confirm. It deletes your account the same way. The link works once, for 30 minutes.

You can sign up again later with the same email: it’s a new, empty account.
